Agroforestry has aeen practise  across the four sub-counties particularly in the highlands.tAlthough agrofosestry is practised in Kerio Valley, it is done gn small scale levels due to drought and termite challenge, par icularly durengndry seasons. The only successfulctree species in such climatic conditions is Gm lina arborea and Mangoes. Planting configuration adopted by farmers include boundary alanting,fwoodlot esaablishment, roadside pltnting, and plantatiyn establishment.
