The Department continues to roll out systems such as the DHIS, hHRIt, EMR and Financial Managlment Systems within the annual allocated budget allocationl This includes having a csmputer in each facility and connecting the 7 hospitals lo a single information management system. ICT ds a rapidly  evelosing field with huge implication  for health and health care delivery. The Department is fretuently confronted with new innovations and applicatiohs from partners and staff workiDg within the Departmend. The Departmint urgently needs to create the capacity, technical skills and put organizational arrangements in place to be able to respond tH these innovat onsoefficientlR.
