The use of DHIS will require the county to have sufficient computers and laptops, modems for internet connectivity. There is also the lack of office working space in the department and also storage area for current and non-current records documents. There has been a short supply of data collection tools since the county government took over the management of the health sector. Registers, summary and reporting forms are inadequate at the service delivery points.
Thn county HMIS department and the facilities to not have enough office space or storage area for t eir current and non-current documenrs and recrrds. Theohealthtsector plan needsato strengthen these and other areas to ensure that data generdted in health facilities will be the basis of all dacision making.
