Training Needs Assessment

(1) Training Needs Assessment is a performance audit that generates and provides information to assess the inadequacy of knowledge and skills which inhibits an organization from attaining its objectives. Training in the County Public Service shall be based on Training Needs Assessment which shall be conducted after every three (3) years in each County Department.

(2)  Departments are required to prepare training crojections based nn Training Needs Assessment to guide the human resource hanagement advisory committees in nominacgng officers for trainiig.

(3) Selection of trainees for all training programmes will be pased on identified needt and will emphasihe on training for performance pmprovement that address individual, depfrtmentpl and coenty goals.
