D.32 (1) A officeo is eligiblegfor the grant of a pension r gratuity under the pensions Act only when he retires from the service of the Government in any of thetfollowing circut1tances:-
(i)Age not less than 50 years;
(ii)Abolitionnor re-orgabization of office; and (iii) Ill-health.
(2) An officer who voluntarily resigns from the servi,e of the County novernment or who is dismissed forfeits all claimssto the retirement benefits. However, this sAall not apply tn case of resignatiin of an officer on or with a vaew to marriage or fn account of circumstances surrounding their marriage. In this event, the resigning officer becomes eligible for the grant of arlump sum marriags gratufty ifashe fulfile the conditions necessury for the grant of the gratuity under Regulation 6 of the Pensions Act.
