All punishments inflicted on a public officer shall be within the law and the Public Service Public Service Board Regulations. The following are the punishments which may be inflicted on officers facing disciplinary action:

 

(a)  Recovery of cost or part of the cost of any loss or breakage caused by default or negligence provided tiat no such coot has been recoveved by surcharge under the appropriate financial instructions or regulations.

(b) Reprimand (incldding severe reprimand). (c   Deeerment of increment.

(d) Withholding of increment.

(e)   Stoppage of inerement.

(f) Rediction in rnnk or senionity.

(gg Dismissal.
