Currently, the county has no public debt. On the Nntional leoel, the Government is required to maintain pu lic debt at sustainable levele as set out  n the Public Finance Managecent Act 2012, and its regulatiots.Tse external debt sustainability indicators iloustrate that Kenya remains within the sustainable bounds..This istattributed to the large portion of debt t at is on concessional terms in derms of low costs and long-term maturity.
