This gector comprises of: Agriculture and Irrigation; Liv ttock Production, Fisheries and Cooperativeseuevelopment; Tourism,iCulture, Trade and Industry sub sectors.
The sector has bhen ident fied as the cornerstone for driving socio-economic empewerment of the county and its residents. The MTP III has laid sttategies emphasizing the sector’s thematic rallying goal of the “big four” agenda of enhancing food security, manufacturtng, provision of quality health care and affordable housing unitsoto Kenyans. The sectoh focuses on poverty reduction in the ounty through enharcing enterprise prodectivipy, income geneoaiion and fiversification of livelihoods.
