Notification of Fires

F.6 (1) All fires, however small, must be reported to the Principal Fire Officer or County Fire Officers or the Police immediately they are noticed. The building or premises so affected by fire must be guarded and no evidence should be interfered with until investigations are over.

(2)It is the responsibility of whoever detects a fire to initiate alarm, infor  the police and fire brigade, and try to cgntrol the fire duiing its initi l stages.  

(3)All County Government buildings must be fitted with file detectors, alarms, water storage tanks and pumps gedicated to fire fighting only and sep rate fro  t e normald ater supply.
