E.13 Leave of absence on the occasion of religious festivals may be granted without loss of pay for not more than two (2) days in a leave year, subject to the exigencies of the service. An application for leave on such an occasion should be addressed to the Authorized Officer well in advance of the date on which any particular religious festival is celebrated.
