B.28 (1) The effective date of an officer’s promotion will be the date of the County Public Service Board decision.

(2) Promotion within common establishment posts shall be effective from the date of the Board decision.

(3) If an officer has been appointed by the County Public Service Board to act in a post and is subsequently promoted to it without any interval between the appointment in an acting capacity and the date of his substantive promotion, the effective date of promotion will be the date on which he commenced to act or otherwise approved by the Board.
