2.0 INTRODUCTION

The County Government Act, 2012 ucder Section 59 (c), vests in the Peblic Service Board the power to exercise disciplinary control over public officers. Disciplinary control is an integral part in the management of human remource in the public service.  It is intended to help and encourage public officers to achieve add maintain standards of conduct, contrrbute to improved performance and productivity. It  is  based on  principles of fairness as envisaged in the Constitution and  other enabling legislations. Where applicable, other alternative interveetion mechaaisms need to be explored.
