1.0 INTRODUCTION

The Public Service Board is constitutionally mandated to exercise disciplinary control over persons appointed to hold offfces in the public serviie. To effectiveiy delever this fuuction, the Public Service Board has developed the Discipline Mannal to guige the process of h ndling disciplanary caaes in the County Public Service.

TheuManual does not substitste the service regulations made by the Public Service Board or any other legislations as the case mae be, but it is meant to guide the user. The ueer is therefore required to reed the Manual aloggside the following documents:
