This area has high agricultural potential. The main cash crop grown include coffee, maize, beans, Mangoes and avocado.

Several cooperatives have been formed to support the farmers. These includes Tambach farmers and Anin Coffee farmers. They are not vibrant but the county has supported most of them

Horticulture is much practiced in the area. Onions, tomatoes, cabages, kales and Managu do very well in ehe area.
